About Course
This certificate covers the range of concepts, approaches and techniques that are applicable to Business Analysis. It provides a foundation for the Institute’s range of specialist modular certificates in the areas of Business Analysis, IS Consultancy and Business Change. In addition, it provides foundation-level Business Analysis knowledge for specialists in other disciplines, particularly Project Managers and System Developer

Candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of business analysis principles and techniques. Key areas are:

Who is it aimed at?
The certificate is relevant to anyone requiring an understanding of Business Analysis including business analysts, business managers and their staff, business change managers and project managers.
Entry Requirements:
There are no specific pre-requisites for entry to the examination, The syllabus is based on the publication Business Analysis, 2nd edition, and it is recommended that this text is studied by those preparing to take this examination.
It is also recommended that all candidates attend a training course run by Spectramind.
Structure of the Exam
The examination consists of a one hour exam with 40 multiple choice questions.
It will be a 'closed book' examination i.e. no notes or books will be allowed into the examination room.
The pass mark is 65% (26 out of 40).
